  • Silent piston
  • Lubricated dry air required, filtered to ≤ 5 μm
  • Compressed air operating range from 2 to 6 bar
  • Ambient temperature from -20°C to 100°C
  • Noise level in dB(A) 70-76 from 2 to 6 bar
  • Supplied with intake manifold and silencer, boltless

The VPA series silent pneumatic piston vibrator is an industrial device for generating unidirectional excitation at very low noise levels, obtained by the movement of a piston on an air damper. Frequency and amplitude vary according to the air flow or pressure applied. Thanks to their compact geometry, they are ideal for conveyors, test benches or installations in confined spaces.

The VPA series silent pneumatic piston vibrator can be coupled with a VTC series quick-attach systemseries, for installation on hoppers, containers and silos for emptying or cleaning the walls.

We also offer VPP series pneumatic vibrators with striker piston.

Why use a silent piston vibrator?

What is a pneumatic piston vibrator?

The pneumatic piston vibrator is a device designed to generate a unidirectional vibration: linear, it spreads in a single direction, as opposed to omnidirectional.

This vibratory behaviour makes the pneumatic piston vibrator an ideal solution for many industrial applications: silo cleaning, aggregate case unclogging, bridge and chimney breaking, container deagglomeration, bulk and powder processing…

Pneumatic piston vibrators are used in a wide range of fields: food processing, plastics, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, environment and recycling, construction…

Why choose a silent piston vibrator?

One of the advantages of pneumatic vibrators is their ability to control compressed air flow and pressure between 2 and 6 bars. A solenoid valve can be inserted in the compressed air circuit to vary the frequency and amplitude of vibration.

Linear vibrators consist of a cast-iron body and a cylinder and piston made of treated, ground steel. We offer 2 types of pneumatic piston vibrators: the VPA series silencer, and the VPP series striker.

The VPA series silent pneumatic piston vibrator generates vibration by moving a piston over an air damper. It thus simulates the repeated blows of a rubber mallet. The VPP series pneumatic vibrator with striker piston series, on the other hand, strikes directly against the surface of the structure on which it is mounted. It’s more like a sledgehammer.

It’s all a question of environment! Indoors, opt for the silent pneumatic piston vibrator, which is quieter and more versatile. Outdoors, prefer the pneumatic vibrator with striker piston: noisier, yet more robust, more powerful and more durable in severe conditions.
