Vibratory feeders
Vibratory feeders
CUSTOMIZED BET series vibratory feeders are electromagnetic devices for conveying bulk materials or products over short distances. They are suitable for a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, food processing and cosmetics. Their use meets a wide range of needs and is adapted to many different processes. At Vibra France, over 30 years’ experience enables us to offer customized vibratory feeders. We adapt the feeder to your needs, whatever the criterion: size, length, material, bevel to orientate the material… The vibratory bases are controlled via a 230 V – 50 Hz control box, with a potentiometer in the standard configuration for precise flow adjustment. What is a vibratory feeder and why use it?
What is a vibratory feeder made of?
A vibratory feeder is an industrial machine that transports materials or products along a corridor from point A to point B on a production line. A vibratory feeder consists of 4 components:
- An electromagnetic vibratory baseplate, equipped with a coil and piston that transmit the vibration to the runner.
- A chute or trough that holds the material or product to be conveyed. It is attached to the baseplate.
- Fiberglass plates transmit the vibration along the entire length of the corridor.
- A manual control box or an electronic control card (4-20mA) to control the conveying flow.
Vibratory feeders are supplied with 230 V single-phase power via a standard plug.
At Vibra France, we make vibratory feeders to measure. The shape of the chute varies according to your needs and criteria: size, length, material, bevel to direct the material…
Equipped with a potentiometer, the control box allows you to vary the amplitude of the vibration, thus adjusting the flow rate and speed of the vibrated material or product. It is also possible to set the vibratory feeder’s excitation frequency to 50 or 100 Hz.
Vibra France also offers an automatic control board with 4-20 mA or 0-10V signal to automate the vibratory feeder according to various criteria. The advantages? The possibility of coupling the device to sensors, remote control…
Why use a vibratory feeder?
Vibratory feeders are versatile, simple to use and easy to automate. That’s why they’re being used more and more, particularly in the following industries:
- Food industry
Vibratory feeders play an important role in the food industry. Automated, they greatly facilitate the conveying of food products. They are generally positioned under filling hoppers and transport the material to the end of the line for packing into cartons.
- Cosmetics
Widely used in the cosmetics industry, these devices are ideally suited to conveying and dosing powders. Vibra France’s BET series vibratory feeder, in particular, is designed to convey large volumes: between 2 and 9 tons / h!
- Pharmaceuticals
This highly demanding industry also uses vibratory feeders, for example, to fill capsules at the end of the aisle. The automation of this process optimizes production while ensuring the utmost attention to detail. As you can see, Vibra France’s customized vibratory feeders offer real added value to production lines. The advantages are numerous: total control of conveying flow, cost reduction, minimal space requirements, ease of use…
